A boiler circulator or boiler pump moves heated water form your boiler through the heating system pipes, then through either your baseboard or convectors or old style radiators, supplying you with the heat you need. When a pump goes bad you may still have some heat because the water may flow by gravity. A hot boiler and cold baseboard may be an indication of a failed boiler circulator or pump, but does not always prove to be the cause of the problem. You may need a professional to help you determine the need to replace your boiler pump.
I can walk you through troubleshooting your boiler pump problem through my open dialog service, this is a fee service but well worth every penny. Please be sure you need a new boiler circulator before you purchase one.

I use the words Circulator and pump interchangeably because some people call them pumps and others call them circulators, it's all the same thing. |
